Kitra was established in March 2023 by Giuseppe Rossano Latorre and Fabrizio Montaruli, professionals with over twenty-five years’ experience, and by IBL Bank as Anchor Investor and Arcano as strategic partner.

New Senior Advisor

Claudio Morandi joins Kitra as Senior Advisor with over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, gained at leading international institutions such as Lehman Brothers, Barclays, and UniCredit.

Establishment

Kitra was established as an independent Italian boutique firm specialising in M&A advisory, corporate finance and alternative investments, by Giuseppe Rossano Latorre and Fabrizio Montaruli, with offices in Milan and Rome.

Strategic Partnership

IBL Bank acquired a stake, as a financial and industrial investor, providing solidity and strategic support through BCA Bank, an investment bank which operates in structured finance, distressed assets and capital markets. Through its strategic partnership with Arcano Partners, Kitra gained access to pan-European resources, expertise and networks in the alternative investment sector.

Since its foundation, Kitra specialised in M&A, corporate finance and alternative investments, with the goal of becoming a leading boutique firm in Italy.

Team’s Growth

In less than 10 months since its foundation, the initial team of 2 partners and 4 professionals has grown to around 15 professionals, thus consolidating the skills and capabilities needed to provide investors and companies with better support. Marina Natale joined Kitra as a Senior Advisor. With over thirty years' experience in the financial sector, she held senior positions in leading institutions and served on boards of directors.

September 2024

Early operating results

Since its foundation 18 months ago, Kitra completed over 10 deals and expanded its team to around 15 professionals specialising in various sectors.

December 2024

Team’s growth and promotions

By 2024, the team had grown to comprise over 20 professionals. Kitra announced the promotion of Gianluca Viola to Director, and Marcello Adriano Ponti and Xhorda Ceno to Vice President. Five associates were also promoted, which confirms the company's commitment to nurturing its talent.

June 2025

New Senior Entries

Silvano Lenoci joined Kitra taking the role as a managing partner, bringing with him over 25 years' experience in corporate finance and M&A, particularly in the financial services and technology sectors. Giovanni Santella and Chiara Antonaci also joined Kitra, taking up positions as Managing Directors.

December 2025

Team’s further growth and appointments.

By 2025, the team had grown to comprise over 30 professionals. Kitra announced the appointments of Gianluca Viola as Managing Director, Francesco Addeo as Vice President and Giorgia Elia as Associate. These appointments recognise the commitment and extraordinary growth of the team members.
