Fabrizio Montaruli

Managing Partner | CEO

Bio

Fabrizio Montaruli, Chairman and Managing Partner of Kitra Advisory, has over thirty years’ experience in Corporate Finance, M&A and Strategy, with a focus on the banking sector. As a financial advisor, he led major banking crisis operations, M&A transactions, takeover bids, valuations, rating processes, and the drafting of business plans for leading financial institutions. He also led financial restructuring operations in various industrial sectors. Throughout his career, he gained solid expertise in strategic planning, complex project management, and executing Distressed M&A, strategic planning, and restructuring transactions.


Prior to founding Kitra, he was a partner at KPMG Advisory, where he led the corporate finance team at the Rome office.

Education and Qualifications

Fabrizio is a chartered accountant, registered with the ODCEC (Order of Chartered Accountants) in Rome since 1990. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University in Rome.

Giuseppe Rossano Latorre

Managing Partner | CEO

Bio

Giuseppe Latorre is a Managing Partner at Kitra Advisory with around thirty years’ experience in corporate finance and M&A. Early in his career, he specialised in the banking and insurance sector. As a financial advisor, he handled around one hundred M&A deals worth over €20 billion. The majority of these were cross-border transactions involving takeover bids on listed companies, as well as valuations, bond and share issues, rating processes, and the drafting of business plans for leading financial institutions.
Recognised as one of the leading experts in the Italian insurance market, Giuseppe has worked on almost all insurance transactions over the last twenty years, completing more than fifty deals, as well as a significant number of international deals in Europe and Asia.
Prior to founding Kitra, he was an equity partner at KPMG Advisory for approximately twenty years, heading the Italian Corporate Finance team for ten of those years. He also held leadership roles at EMA and global levels for KPMG since 2018. Giuseppe previously worked at Lehman Brothers.

Positions Held

Giuseppe is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NET Insurance S.p.A. (Poste Group – Italian Post) and sits on the Board of Directors of Fandango S.p.A. He was previously a member of the Board of Directors of AIAF (the Italian Association for Financial Analysis).

Education and qualifications

Giuseppe is a Chartered Accountant, registered with the ODCEC (Order of Chartered Accountants) in Milan since 1997. He is also an auditor (since 1999) and an expert appraiser at the Court of Milan (since 2003). He has a degree in Business Economics from L. Bocconi University in Milan, and completed KPMG’s Insurance programme at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (2013), as well as the INSEAD C25 Insurance Executive MBA  organised by KPMG International (2014). He also obtained an IMScEC diploma from the Rotterdam School of Management. He is the author of  La Valutazione delle Assicurazioni (Insurance Valuation), published by Egea in 2014.

Silvano Lenoci

Managing Partner | CEO

Bio

Silvano Lenoci has been Managing Partner at Kitra Advisory since June 2025. He has over 25 years’ experience in corporate finance and M&A. Initially, he focused exclusively on the financial services sector, while expanding his scope of activity to include the mid-market segment and the technology, IT services, and services sectors in general for over 10 years.
He spent his entire professional career at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he became Head of Corporate Finance Italy, Co-Head of Global M&A Banking, and Head of EMA Insurance Deal Advisory.
Silvano specialises in providing financial consultancy services for extraordinary M&A deals, on both the sale and purchase sides, as well as for the valuation and structuring of such deals, including fundraising. He regularly works with major players in the Private Equity sector.

Education and Qualifications

Silvano is a chartered accountant, registered with the ODCEC (Order of Chartered Accountants) in Milan since 2008 (registration no. 7411), and with the Register of Statutory Auditors (no. 153592) in the same year. He graduated from the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan with a degree in Business Economics, and attended a training programme in economics and strategy at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.

Giovanni Santella

Managing Director

Bio

Giovanni is the Managing Director of Kitra Advisory and has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance, primarily within the financial services sector. Prior to joining the Kitra team, he worked for over fifteen years in the M&A team at KPMG Advisory, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility until he became a Director.

Education and Qualifications

Giovanni is a chartered accountant (section A) with the ODCEC (Order of Chartered Accountants)  in Milan, having qualified in June 2023. He graduated with honours in Business Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, and obtained a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance, also with honours, from the same institution.

Chiara Antonaci

Managing Director

Bio

Chiara is a Managing Director at Kitra Advisory, with over ten years of experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. She has advised domestic and international companies, as well as private equity funds, on multiple mergers and acquisitions, primarily in the Financial Services and TMT sectors. Prior to joining Kitra, Chiara was part of the M&A team at KPMG Advisory, where she served as a Director.

Education and Qualifications

Chiara holds a degree in International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University and earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Bayes Business School in London.

Gianluca Viola

Managing Director

Bio

Gianluca is the Director of Kitra Advisory and has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance, which he gained at leading companies, including KPMG Corporate Finance and Banca IMI. Prior to joining Kitra, he was Head of M&A and Financial Planning at Fiven, an Italian IT services company.

Education and Qualifications

He holds a degree in Business Economics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, as well as a Master’s degree in Finance from Cranfield University in London.

Filippo Cattabiani is the Vice President of Kitra Advisory, and has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance, primarily within the technology and industrial sectors. He was previously a Manager at KPMG Corporate Finance.

Filippo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Control, both from Luigi Bocconi University.

Flavia Cermentini, Vice President of Kitra Advisory, has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance, particularly in the CIM (Consumer and Industrial Markets) sector. She previously held the position of manager at KPMG Corporate Finance, and gained further experience in financial and strategic consulting at T8P Consulting and Deloitte.

Flavia holds a Master’s Degree in Administration, Finance and Control from Luigi Bocconi University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from Roma Tre University.

Francesco Addeo is Vice President of Kitra Advisory and has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance, primarily within the financial services sector. Previously, he was an Associate at KPMG Corporate Finance.

Claudio Morandi

Senior Advisor

Bio

Claudio Morandi is a Senior Advisor at Kitra Advisory, with over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, gained at leading international institutions such as Lehman Brothers, Barclays, and UniCredit.

Throughout his professional career, Claudio has specialized in the origination and execution of M&A transactions and related financing solutions, as well as equity and debt capital markets issuances. He has advised both corporate clients and private equity funds, serving as a senior banker for the latter at Barclays and UniCredit.

Key transactions he has worked on include: the sale of Guala Closures; ADIA’s acquisition of a stake in Cellnex; the fairness opinion for Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in the Nexi/SIA merger; the sale by IGT of its proximity payment division to Poste Italiane; the IPO of Lottomatica on behalf of Apollo; Cassa Depositi e Prestiti’s investment in GPI; the acquisition of Quid by Apax/Fibonacci; and the first-time bond issuances of Nexture and CEME on behalf of InvestIndustrial.

Claudio holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Federico Ferrelli is a Vice President at Kitra Advisory and has solid experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance, mainly within the Financial Services sector. Before joining Kitra, Federico was part of KPMG Advisory’s M&A team for over 10 years, taking on roles of increasing responsibility up to Associate Director.

Federico holds a Master’s degree with honors in Economics and Finance from Roma Tre University.
