Our partner ARCANO organised an exclusive event in Milan, during which insights into the 2025 future economic and geopolitical landscape were presented, with a particular focus on the US presidential elections.

Paule Ansoleaga Abascal (Managing Director and Head of Arcano Partners Italia) and Giuseppe Rossano Latorre (Founder and CEO of Kitra Advisory) introduced the meeting and shared their thoughts on the importance of strategic dialogue at a time of great global complexity.

During the meeting, Ignacio de la Torre, Partner and Chief Economist at Arcano, presented an in-depth analysis of the main global economic trends and their possible impact on the markets in 2025. Backed by the work of Arcano Research — the macroeconomic, technological and geopolitical analysis unit recognised for its rigorous and independent approach — de la Torre offered valuable scenarios and guidance on how to address the challenges of the coming months.

Next, Bjorn Beam — an expert in technology and geopolitics who gained extensive experience working for the CIA — discussed the implications of the US elections. He also explored how cybersecurity and emerging technologies (including generative AI) are reshaping the global financial landscape.

The event concluded with a coffee break and networking session, which gave participants the opportunity to discuss the topics covered.
