Corriere Economia has published an in-depth article on the significant consolidation process in insurance brokerage in Italy, citing a study carried out by Kitra Advisory.
In the article, Giovanni Santella (Kitra’s Managing Director) explained to Andrea Rinaldi how private equity funds are adopting ‘platform’ models to acquire and integrate specialised brokers. Meanwhile, Xhorda Ceno (Kitra’s Vice President) highlighted to Andrea Rinaldi how the growing demand for advanced consulting and the under insurance of the Italian market are making the sector particularly attractive.
Kitra’s analysis suggests that, by 2025, compensation for damages will exceed € 44 billion, offering ample room for growth in professional brokerage and integrated models that also include MGAs.
