Our KitraTalks series continues — a cycle of meetings designed to explore perspectives and stories that, while not directly tied to our daily work, provide valuable inspiration and intellectual enrichment.

On April 28, we had the pleasure of hosting our dear friend Paule Ansoleaga Abascal, Managing Director Italy at Arcano Partners, an industrial engineer and MBA “converted” to finance, with over twenty years of experience in Capital Markets and Asset Management.

Paule presented her book Philosophy and Finance: A Love Story, inviting us to shift perspective and reflect on how the profound historical changes we are witnessing require not only technical and operational responses, but also greater awareness, presence, and a deeper reflection on the meaning of economic action.

In this context, philosophy — in its purest form as love (philia) for wisdom (sophia) — can once again serve as a guiding light: reconnecting wisdom with wealth, being with doing, and the human dimension with the system.

The session also featured Álvaro De Remedios, founder of Arcano Partners, whose contribution enriched the conversation and stimulated discussion.

It was a valuable moment of intellectual exchange, and we are grateful to both Paule and Álvaro for sharing their insights.
