Bio

Claudio Morandi is a Senior Advisor at Kitra Advisory, with over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, gained at leading international institutions such as Lehman Brothers, Barclays, and UniCredit.

Throughout his professional career, Claudio has specialized in the origination and execution of M&A transactions and related financing solutions, as well as equity and debt capital markets issuances. He has advised both corporate clients and private equity funds, serving as a senior banker for the latter at Barclays and UniCredit.

Key transactions he has worked on include: the sale of Guala Closures; ADIA’s acquisition of a stake in Cellnex; the fairness opinion for Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in the Nexi/SIA merger; the sale by IGT of its proximity payment division to Poste Italiane; the IPO of Lottomatica on behalf of Apollo; Cassa Depositi e Prestiti’s investment in GPI; the acquisition of Quid by Apax/Fibonacci; and the first-time bond issuances of Nexture and CEME on behalf of InvestIndustrial.

Claudio holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
