As a buy-side financial advisor, Kitra Advisory advised Harvest – a leading provider of asset management software – and its private equity sponsors TA Associates and Montagu, on the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Firstance, a European wealth-tech platform and market leader in the distribution of private insurance products, with the reinvestment in the group of key managers.

Firstance is a leading pan-European Wealth Tech company specialising in the B2B and B2B2C distribution of private insurance solutions, with a particular focus on PPLI (Private Placement Life Insurance) products for High Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals.
Rationale of the Deal
Nine months after the acquisition of Fincite, HARVEST is strengthening its pan-European presence by acquiring FIRSTANCE, an Italian WealthTech player specialising in life insurance distribution. The deal accelerated growth in Italy and Europe and supported creating an innovative European leader focused on the needs of consultants and clients. FIRSTANCE’s expertise in policy management and platforms for insurers and distributors complements HARVEST’s advisory workflow offering. The group expands its coverage in over 30 jurisdictions and consolidates a more integrated and competitive proposal.
